Medi-Glow Aesthetics is one of the first of its kind in Gaborone, providing beauty treatment and asthetic services that are medically approved.The practice is owned and run by the ever so vibrant Dr Wedu Somolekae.

Dr Somolekae is a medical doctor who focuses exclusively on medical Aesthetics. Having graduated from University of Botswana School of Medicine, she pursued more training in the field to hone her craft to become the seasoned professional she is today.

Facials

Mild skin treatments aimed at light exfoliation, soothing and calming irriation as well as hydration. Suitable for all skin types.

Chemical Peel

A chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove a layer of dead skin cells. Improves tone and texture of skin. Address pigmentation, dark spots, oily skin, acne, large pores etc.

Dermaplaning

A form of manual exfoliation that smoothsskin and refines pores. Helps makeupapplication appear clearer and increases product penetration into skin. Gives instant glow. Time: 25min

Laser Hair Removal

Permanet hair removal using raiofrequency (RF) and intense pulse light (IPL). This technology destroys the hair follicle (at the root) toprevent hair growth. 6-8 sessions required at 6 week intervals for good results.

Micro Needling

A device with tiny sterilized needles is applied to the skin. This induces collagen and addrsses pegmentation, fine lines amd wrinkles, dark dots and acne scar-ring. Time: 20mins

Anti-wrinkle Injection

Great to reduce appearance of wrinkle on the face - frown lines, smile limes and forehead lines.

Vitamin Drips

Intravenous (through the veins)infusions of vitamin supplements including vit C, magnesium, vit B12, magnesium for immmune boosting, beauty and weight loss support purposes.
